No. This configuration is intended for Charpy impact testing of metallic materials.
Can it test sub-size Charpy specimens?
Yes. Specimens with 7.5 mm or 5 mm thickness can be supported using the appropriate centering fixture.
Which striker is required for ASTM E23?
The required striker geometry depends on the applicable standard and test configuration. An R8 striker is available for ASTM configurations.
Does the machine include specimen cooling equipment?
A low-temperature conditioning bath and insulated transfer equipment are optional.
